Bio.

Here’s where I come from. I grew up in Alhambra, California, an immigrant community east of Los Angeles. My mother is Chinese from Hong Kong and my father is American. I attended UC San Diego for undergrad, studying Anthropology and Literature. Ten years later, I earned an M.Sc. in Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the London School of Economics. Tech is a trade, and I learned it working in the industry.

I’ve lived in different places: LA’s eastside with summers in Hong Kong, Brooklyn for ~7 years, London for ~2 years, and now back between Los Angeles and London. Different social environments have given me a heart for the problems we serve at Simba, and the capacity to connect with folks from very different backgrounds.

I enjoy hiking and travel a lot for work. I also have a big yellow dog.
